AppOnTheRun started with Michael Otto, President of PCdotCOM. Some of Michael's customers used paper-based workforce management solutions to manage their mobile businesses, and most were dissatisfied with the organization and management of handling work orders, technicians and billing. He knew that there had to be a better way to manage these types of businesses, so he set out to develop a piece of software that could get the job done quickly, easily, and without the need for paper. He focused his skilled team of programmers to design AppOnTheRun.
AppOnTheRun is designed to fit the needs of any business with a mobile workforce, no matter how large or small, how complex or simple. We strove to create a solution that is flexible enough to accommodate a wide variety of industries, but not so overly flexible as to be confusing. Many of our customers say that they wonder how they ever managed their business without it.
